WAG tri - official results

Official results for the Women's and Girls' triathlon, held last Sunday, are out.

Place - 7th (of 132 competitors); 1st (of 26 in age group)
Official time - 58.27min

Splits:
Swim - 8.14min (2nd in age group; 17th overall)
Cycle - 31.26min (2nd in age group; 19th overall) *cycle leg also includes transition times
Run - 18.47min (1st in age group; 3rd overall)

It was interesting to note that my bike computer said around 28min for the bike leg - that means I spent over 3 mins stuffing around in transition after the swim and cycle legs.

Anyway I'm very happy with the results :-)

Is there an official page for the event?
This was not very crowded certenly because not just anyone will be wanting to participate as in running events.
Your times and places are wonderful.

Great to see its all official.

7th is fantastic, especially after spending over 3 mins in transition. How does that 3 mins compare to others???

well done cj...i admire all triathletes - i wouldn't worry about stuffing around for 3mins, i'd be more like 10mins!...transition needs to be practiced and i'm sure it'll get quicker!

Mmmm CJ, looks like you are a runner who does triathlons... not that there's anything wrong with that.
