Was woken at about 4am by a very heavy shower of rain - it was pelting down. The thought briefly crossed my mind as I went back to sleep that I wouldn't have to get up and run in the morning. Hah! Come 5.30am there was no rain and no chance of it raining either.

It was an easy run this morning, backing up from yesterday's hill run. The legs feel fine - no soreness or stiffness. At about the 7km mark I turned off from the path I was following, heading for home, before realising that I was supposed to be running 12km. So it was an about-turn and return the way I had come and continue on to where I was supposed to be heading in the first place. This all happened because I was thinking about what to wear to work, what work I had to get done today, the things I had to get done at the Plaza during my lunch break..... So is it any wonder that I sometimes trip up on footpaths when I'm thinking about anything but what I am doing at the time!

The chocolate rabbit has not been eaten - mainly, as Ewen so eloquently puts it, so "I will not fatten!" I think there was some mention of sharing it....but sometimes the message gets lost in the translation!!!

There is no way you will "fatten" thanks to one lil bunny. Ignore Ewen - eat it; otherwise the bunny might feel unloved :-))

Ah CJ, good to see those Italian classes are being put to good use. And great to see your legs are in good shape after what one of them went through recently.

A lady friend told me recently women didn't think ahead to what they were going to wear during the day....I think your thought lines are more accurate than her's!

You asked about my 200m. I came fifth out of about eight runners. I am really not into this short stuff (although secretly I have to admit the run was fun).

Another Mountain runner today said his hammies were tight from the weekend, so in contrast, you've recovered well.

I vostri scherzi in italiano circa le mucche erano molto intelligenti. Eravate troppo sleepy? Se non funzionaste così presto di mattina non sareste sleepy! State diventando forgetful. Spero che non otteniate persi a sei piedi!
